The Feeder Cattle Procurement Program

This program has been established to assist producers in marketing their Gelbvieh and Balancer influence feeder cattle. The focus will be on coordinating the marketing of your feeder cattle with a feeder cattle order buyer in your region.

This is a fee based  program in which  a commission will be charged to the Seller at the time of delivery.  The amount of commission charged  will be related to the amount of GPP, Inc. stock shares owned by  your Gelbvieh or Balancer bull provider. We realize that the commissions you pay reduce your net income. As such, we have designed the commission rates to be very competitive with the auction markets and the video sales.  Listed below is the commission schedule. Remember, commission rates are negotiable, and volume discounts will apply. If you’re interested in working with Gelbvieh Profit Partners in marketing your feeder cattle, and your seedstock supplier is not an investor in GPP, Inc. Then we suggest  you motivate them to become a dedicated investor in Gelbvieh Profit Partners, Inc.

Utilizing the GPP Procurement Program

Utilizing the Gelbvieh Profit Partners, Inc. Feeder Cattle Procurement Program will  require  a few moments of your time. You'll need the Data  Enrollment Form, available here. This form needs to be completed in detail and submitted to Slim Cook, Operations Manager for GPP, Inc. This can be done  either  through email at slimck@tribcsp.com, or via fax at 1-307-587-1965.

Once submitted, the information on the form will be given to a regional order buyer who will contact you and assist you in marketing your feeder cattle. If GPP does not have an order buyer in your region, or that order buyer does not have any orders that fit your class of cattle, than GPP will attempt  to work directly with you in facilitating the sale of your  feeder cattle. We ask that you realize that orders that buyers have can change on a daily basis as their customers  needs are met.

The GPP Data Enrollment form is self explanatory. However, for those producers who have never traded in the country information to assist you in completing the form is available.  If you have any questions regarding the GPP Data Enrollment Form than you can contact Slim Cook at 1-307-272-2024.

There are a few things to remember. To be successful in marketing your calves it will be necessary to provide load lots of calves of similar type. Straight loads of steers or heifers are preferable to mixed loads. A  load lot is a minimum of 49,000 – 50,000 pounds. Keep in mind that feedyards have pen sizes that are based on truckloads, also the cost of freight demands that the cost is amortized over  a full load in order to maximize efficiency.

Gelbvieh Profit Partners, Inc. looks forward to the opportunity to work with you in marketing your feeder cattle. We hope the change from cattle feeding to feeder cattle procurement will be successful for both you and Gelbvieh Profit Partners, Inc.
